Siridao beach is a beach with coarse sand that has the mouth of the river zuari . Siridao beach is a shell collector 's haven with its assortment of oyster and Pearl shells. The famous Jesus of Nazareth chapel is also situated at this beach where thousands of devotees come during the feast that is held on the 1st week of Easter . Siridao beach is located at a distance of 7 kms from Panaji. There are not many hotels in this area except for a few small shacks . Most locals visit the beach in the evening and during weekends. The main attraction of course is the academy per se but the added advantage is the fact that it is situated alongside a jetty. One can sit on the benches placed there and sit appreciating the gentle waves or have some snacks at the academy cafeteria. One can also catch some theatre performances playing there . The thing that I found most attractive was the paintings on the walls which seem almost life - like . The balconies, stairs, windows are very realistic. There is ample space for budding artists to play their instruments or generally chit - chat . All in all , a good place to spend sometime appreciating art . Standing on the gallery of the church, you can see the entire view of the lovely Panjim city. It is one of the two only beaches in Panjim other being caranzalem beach . Many people mostly tourists come to this beach everyday. Originally named Porta de Gasper Dias by the Portuguese the name was then changed to Miramar. It is situated at the confluence of the Mandovi river and the Arabia sea , it is a small beach that occasionally hosts some events. There are several educational institutions in the surrounding vicinity. One should visit this place during sunset or sunrise. This beach is a nice place for cool walk with the soothing sound of waves. Pretty long and generally very calm. At the moment you can also see a casino vessel Lucky 7 resting on sand bar at Miramar.

Reis magos symbolises the ' magi kings ' that is the 3 wise men . One can sit on the sand or rocks that are scattered and gaze at the Panaji city across the river with all its rush while you can sit calmly in this peaceful place and think about all the history, the battles , the victories , the religion and the traditions of Goa . Many locals come to the beach for fishing and enjoy fresh fish. The youth also come here to spend time along with their friends.

It is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Goa .          One of the most spectacular of all monuments in Goa , reproduced on          innumerable travel brochures and advertisements is the st. Augustine's          tower in old Goa . Every person comes to visit the tower can capture the beautiful          sunset scene with the blue sky behind the tower in the late evening.
